Music ministry

"Shout for joy to the Lord, all the earth. Worship the Lord with gladness; come before him with joyful songs."

-PSALM 100:1-2

let's get musical.

Kids ages Kinder and up can also participate in the joys of Music Ministry and Worship! Melody Makers is for children who are interested in developing voice technique for singing Worship songs and learning to ring handbells. Melody Makers perform at the Annual Christmas and Easter Cantatas.
The Praise Band Team leads music for the Sunday 8:30 a.m. Contemporary services. Rehearsals take place on Wednesday evenings from 7-9 p.m, warm up on Sundays at 7:30 a.m. all inside the Sanctuary. Weekly rehearsals cover the songs for the upcoming Sunday service.
The Handbell Team rings handbell musical pieces at select services throughout the year. Handbells practice meets regularly on Thursday evenings from 6:30-7:30 p.m. in the Sanctuary.
Our Sanctuary Choir sings a wide variety of anthems for our 11:00 a.m. Traditional service. Rehearsals are in the Choir Room (on the second floor) on Thursday evenings from 7-8:30 p.m. We warm up on Sundays at 10:30 a.m. in the Choir room. No audition is necessary. Weekly rehearsals cover anthems for at least six weeks so weekly attendance is encouraged. Anyone who loves to sing is invited, whether you attend the early or late service. Early service folks are welcome to rehearse, warm up and sing with us.
