HAITI CHILD SPONSORSHIP
(Through the LaCroix New Testament Mission)
HAVE A HEART FOR HAITI is a Hickory United EPC outreach ministry to the people of Haiti. We work directly with the La Croix New Testament Mission. We sponsor children at the La Croix Mission so they can receive schooling, hot meals, good Christian role models, access to medical care and hope for a better life. If you would like to sponsor a child please see the information below. We are grateful for all of you who continue to be sponsors or are considering becoming a sponsor!

What does a sponsored Child recieve?
- An education associated with the LaCroix New Testament Mission.
- Young children receive breakfast and lunch at school each day. The older children receive a lunch.
- During the summer months when school is closed, all school children receive summer food distributions.
- Access to medical care.
- Christian fellowship and hope for a better life!
What is the cost of sponsorship?
- Sponsorship is yearly and is $240.00/ year or $20.00/ month. You can pay it in full or in monthly installments.
- Please make your check payable to Hickory United EPC with a note informing us it is for your Haiti child sponsorship.
How can I sponsor a child?
- Contact Gretta MacIntyre at geese@hky.com. Please view the sponsorship form below.
- Gretta will meet with you, show you pictures of the children needing sponsorship, and will give you a photo and brief background on the child you choose to sponsor.
Food Distribution Program
If you are unable to sponsor a child at this time, you can make a donation to the Food Distribution Program. Your donation ensures rice and beans are supplied to Haitian children and their families.
Please make a check payable to Hickory United EPC with "Haiti Food Distribution" in the memo line and drop off to the Main Office or place in the offering plate during Sunday service. Thank you for your donations!
